The highest quality wedding photography, shot by one of the UK’s top press photographers

The days of formal wedding photography are very much becoming a thing of the past, though it doesn’t seem so long ago that I remember attending the weddings of relatives where the photographs outside the church took longer than the ceremony itself.

Now couples generally are much more interested in a less formal approach which captures the spirit of the day and this is precisely the type of coverage that I offer.

Depending upon your requirements I can provide a full record of the day, which generally starts with the bride getting ready and finishes with the first dance. Photos will be a mixture of candid and informally posed pictures which will provide a lasting memory of your most special day.

Good candid pictures are tremendous, but sometimes things just need a little nudge to make a good snap into a great picture, and this is what is meant by informally posed. In my career as a press photographer I have have asked plenty of politicians, sportsmen and royalty if they could ‘stand a little closer’ or ‘move a bit to the left’, to make a better photo.

Most couples feel that a few more formal pictures are appropriate, particularly of the happy couple, but also groups with immediate family, the bridesmaids etc, and I would agree with this, though if you are wanting a lot of very formal posed groups then I am probably not the man for you.
